Where I Come From
My husband and I both come from Sandusky, a small town in the area we natives of Michigan call “The Thumb” on our state map. (See Contact Page.)
We are transplants to northwest Michigan after spending 18 years living in suburban metro Detroit, where I promoted recycling in an eight-city region.
I served on the Michigan Recycling Coalition board of directors for a decade — seven years as chair.
I served a three-year term on the National Recycling Coalition board of directors.
I also spent seven years on the Friends of the Rouge board of directors — one as president. I coordinated volunteers and river clean-up events in suburban metro Detroit.
I earned a bachelors degree in journalism/public relations from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan. Since then, I have used my education, skills and talents to forward the cause of many groups, organizations and businesses.
I have served a rural community in northern Michigan as the editor of a local paper. I have worked with organizations on a daily basis to improve the quality of their press releases and other public relations matters.
Where I’m Going
Where I come from is important; where I’m going, even more so.
Possibility and integrity are the pillars upon which Write Impressions was built, the pillars upon which we are standing, and the pillars upon which we will continue to stand and build both our business and yours.
Possibility and integrity make a world of difference and make a difference in the world.
Possibility and integrity are places any organization or business can come from or go to.
Let’s go there together.
If getting it right is important, if having your written words make the right impressions, and if having your spoken words properly represent where you are going, Write Impressions will make the right impressions for you. |
